Vale Royal Abbey Wedding Videographer

Being the first time visiting the cheshire wedding venue ‘Vale Royal Abbey’, I throughly looked forward to producing a wedding film for Rich & Clare that they could look back on and be proud of.

For a historic 13th century building in Cheshire, I looked forward to filming all the details that showed its english heritage in the heart of Northwich.

Vale Royal Abbey Wedding Film in a building full of history

Vale Royal Abbey was a building with a history that dates all the way back to the 13th century and was originally founded by one Prince Edward. Its British heritage was clear to see, with the land now home to one of the best golf courses in the north west.

Rich & Clare got married in May 2019. The filming day began with the bridal party getting ready at the respective couples home in Cheshire. This always gives a sense of the emotion that goes into every couples wedding day. With the bridesmaids, mother of the bride and the couples daughter all present, this provided all the ingredients to capturing bridal preparations in a natural way. Rich & Clare’s furry little cat ‘Bobby’ was also a star, who I have to say looked amazing in their final presented wedding feature film.

Their wedding ceremony took place in the gardens behind the abbey with a lovely large oak tree standing as a focal point at the top of the aisle. Dressing the wedding ceremony with lanterns, Clare proceeded with her father hand in hand, dancing to one of their favourite mo-town songs. The music continued throughout the drinks reception with songs being sang by the talented Amber Kuti Music.

With so much land on offer, their portraits session took us onto golf buggies to have a little bit of a drive. One opportunity which Rich throughly enjoyed with a big smile on his face. This set the tone for what was a fun time filming their photographs standing by a beautiful lake on the Vale Royal Abbey golf course.

Their speeches showed the amount of effort Clare put into dressing the venue with her own personal touch. From all the additional details on her wedding dress from Willow Bridal Boutique, to the lanterns and white contemporary themed products throughout the hall by Dressed to Impress. Also the best man’s speech illustrating the special friendship Rich and his best man (his brother Jonathan) growing up, without ever having an argument! Id say that is a big achievement for any pair of siblings.

Their special day ended with Clare playing a slideshow of their 18 year history that brought them to this special wedding day, with their first dance song ‘I Found You’ playing in the background. Rich clearly felt emotional and understandably so, watching all this unfold to this time where he can now call Clare his wife.

It turned out to be a fantastic day that their close family, with their daughter Ellie, can cherish forever more.
