Oddfellows On The Park Wedding Videographer

Will & Jade’s wedding day was something that I captured in September 2018. At the time of writing this blog their first year wedding anniversary will soon be approaching, so what could be a better time to share their special day with you all?

What was so fantastic about these two is how much fun they were. They were a couple who had brilliant personalities and that came through in their wedding film. Will who loves a joke and his beloved dog Paddy, along with Jade who was so bubbly and energetic. I was not surprised with her being a highly trained dancer with all the energy she had.

A quirky and unique wedding venue set in the heart of Bruntwood Park, Cheshire

Oddfellows On The Park was the venue of their choice and it is truly unique. The name of the Cheshire hotel speaks for itself. They say the venue is somewhere for ODD fellows to relax, wine and dine. With many unique rooms, the walls are covered in individual pieces of artwork. The focal point of the entrance hallway being a moose’s head to greet all the hotel and wedding guests that walk through the doors.

A morning spent within the comfort of her parents home in Didsbury

Jade spent the morning with her bridesmaids in the comfort of her parents house in Didsbury. The emotions were running high with Jade giving a lovely gift to her father. A truly sentimental father of the bride gift in the form of a hankerchief, with a note stitched into it. This will be something he can cherish forever.

Will had the comfort of the hotel the night before, getting ready in one of the stunning suites with his father and brother Alex. Alex was Will’s best man, a nice touch that shows the close relationship they all had as a family.

The award winning Cheshire wedding car company Horgan’s Cars were there to take the couple around. With the hiring of an Asquith Charabanc Omnibus, it was a showpiece that the couple enjoyed being transported around in. It looked brilliant in their wedding film and their wedding photographs shot by Black Orchid Photography.

A wedding with a film noir theme

All of the decoration and outfits on the wedding were designed to fit the theme of old school film noir. Lots of attention to detail was noticeable. Buttonholes were incorporated with beautiful flowers and peacock feathers to showcase the theme. These were all produced so wonderfully by Blue Door Flowers. Jade’s wedding dresses were the same, paying homage to the same era and provided by Sense & Sensibility Bridal.

The wedding ceremony was a show stopper, in the beautifully presented Galloping Major restaurant. Tall ceilings are present along with a large wooden fireplace at the end of the aisle, where the two of them would greet each other for their vows.

A first dance any couple would be proud of

Cocktails on the outdoor terrace swung the guests into the evening festivities. With the DJ present, Will and Jade swooned so classily into a first dance by Take That. Clearly you could see their personalities come to life. I can honestly still say to this day, that it was a first dance I have enjoyed filming the most so far as a wedding videographer.
